Age old crafts like making azulejos, woodworking, ceramics, building music instruments, painting, leather working, and crochet are still very much alive and kicking. Lisbon is a living city because of its makers. Let’s meet them and discover their craft during one of our curated creative workshops. And even better: get your hands dirty! Learn from Portugal’s makers, and explore your own creativity! 

I developed with fellow Lisboeta and enthusiast photographer Paula (discover her work at lisbonbylight.com) compelling, pleasant and interesting creative retreats in and around Lisbon for those who want to discover the city in an active way.

Driven by our passion and love for the city, you’ll discover Lisbon and its surroundings differently. Our curated creative workshops encourage you to develop new skills, passions and connections!

LISBON CREATIVE RETREAT (3 days in Lisbon)

3 intense days in Lisbon, filled with creativity and authentic experiences. Think workshops in local crafts like making azulejos and ceramics, indebt city walks, delicious meals and inspiring encounters with makers.

CREATIVE IN LISBON & ACROSS THE RIVER (3 days in Lisbon, 1 day outside the city)

We start in Lisbon: we walk the city, visit artisans of all kind, and we learn by doing. And then we hit the road to workshops in the middle of nowhere. There we’ll walk, visit and learn even more. A unique and authentic experience with high skilled local crafts people!

CREATIVE IN LISBON & BEYOND (3 days in Lisbon, 2 days outside the city)

After 3 days in Lisbon full of creative experiences, we take our time to discover workshops outside the capital, in Portugal’s picturesque countryside. Several high skilled local artisans are awaiting us to initiate us into the elegance and secrets of their craft. And we have ample time to enjoy the beauty and peace of the countryside, and to relax.

As soon you’ve filled in the form, you’ll receive information about the curated creative workshops you’re interested in. In case you would be inspired by one of the workshops but would like to customise it: anything goes! Just tell us what you like, and we’ll get in touch with you in order to develop the Lisbon curated creative experience that best suits you and your friends, family or colleagues.
