Originally from Ghent in Belgium, she has been calling Lisbon home since 2012, long enough to look beyond the postcard, short enough to stay curious. 

With a background in history and years spent listening, observing and writing as a journalist, Vos guides through attention and curiosity, revealing the city through stories and lived experience. She approaches cities as texts, attentive to their layers, contradictions and silences.

Her Lisboneye city tours are rooted in lived experience, local networks and a deep respect for place, people and rhythm. 

She is also the author of To Die For Portugal, a travel and photo book that explores the country beyond clichés and mass tourism, very much in the same spirit as Lisboneye: slow, sharp-eyed and story-driven. 

Lisboneye grew out of a simple idea: travel should connect, not consume. Whether through walking tours, excursions or storytelling workshops, Vos invites travellers to step into Portugal with attention and curiosity. Vos opens doors, asks questions and knows when to pause. Stepping into her stories is engaging, immersive and enjoyable, an experience that stays with you well beyond the moment itself.
